Bonte Boré (Guinea Conakry) Recipe

Ingredients:
•300-400 grams of dried cod (or catfish or any fish of your choice)
•2-3 large onions
•2 green bell peppers
•garlic or garlic paste
•1 hot bell pepper
•2 maggi cubes or few drops of maggi in liquid form
•oil (palmoil or your choice)
•salt and pepper
•basmati rice

How to make bore bonte:

Soak the dried fish in water for about an hour. Cut the onions, garlic and green peppers and fry them in oil in a pot. Then put the fish in the pot, water, red hot pepper, maggi, salt and pepper. Let them boil and when the water “drinks” and is ready, accompany it with Basmati rice.
